• Designing and implementing new features and functionality on the existing and new websites. • Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture.
• Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS • Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin. • Perform continual maintenance checks to ensure optimal site performance, including links, database, and other key functions.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap. • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
• Strong understanding of core WordPress functions, hooks and Database Tables.
• Strong command in building own or customize existing WordPress Plugins and Themes. • Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML and/or WordPress pages • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and SVN
• Developing, maintaining and optimizing secure, reusable and scalable websites.
• Work closely with the architects to develop the best technical design and approach for new application development.
• Landing page creation with contact form, data layer variables import to email
• Page performance optimisation: load speed, multiple scripts handling, compression techniques and can work using GTMetrix tools, etc.
• Knowledge of basics of attributes: alt tags, meta tags, og tags, schema tags etc
• Experience in building AMPs is a plus
• Should have problem solving, prioritizing tasks, multi tasking abilities along with independent handling of the tasks.
