Calix is hiring for the role of Web Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Working on an agile team to build AEM features from user stories
  • Developing front-end components and templates in AEM for different page builds on Calix.com
  • Developing Java-based OSGI services for integrating 3rd party services with AEM
  • Developing and maintaining documentation, demos, and proof of concepts
  • Troubleshooting and debugging our AEM applications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience working in AEM 6. x or AEM as a Cloud Service is a must
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in AEM concepts such as OSGI, Apache Sling, Blueprints, JCR
  • Strong experience building components, templates, dialogs, sling models, servlets and services
  • String experience with HTM5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, frameworks (React, Bootstrap), and HTL for front-end development
  • Experience with Java development particularly Apache Sling Models and OSGI development for back-end development and how it flows to the front-end
