Standard Chartered is hiring for the role of VP, Data, Insights & Analytics!

Responsibilities of the candidate:

• Driving the Data, Insights & Analytics initiatives within ICS Risk.
• Oversee the creation and consistent implementation of Data, Insights & Analytics best practices throughout the ICS Risk.
• Cooperation with other Data, Insights & Analytics teams to align approaches within the Bank
• Facilitate workshops/meetings with ICS Risk Teams to identify business requirements for ICS Risk tools/solutions.
• Evaluate current and emerging BI industry trends and best practices when designing BI solutions. Plan custom application lifecycle management for embedded solutions.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications (minimum Diploma) in Computer Science, Risk & Control, or other relevant areas
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and effectively prioritize 
• Strong sense of personal ownership and responsibility in accomplishing the organization’s goal
• Able to get things done in a quick-paced environment. Be transparent and open about what doesn’t work and what does 
• Excellent communication and briefing skills at senior executive and board level – oral, written, and presentation; technical reporting writing across various types of target audiences
• Highly entrepreneurial with a high level of energy, dedication, and an unrelenting drive to deliver value
• Excellent understanding and proven track record of implementation of solutions using Business Intelligence platforms such as MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau, etc
