QED42 Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for the role of Visual Designer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Turn ideas into visuals that are clear, intentional, and rooted in strong design principles.
• Create, update, and apply brand guidelines across all outputs.
• Create motion graphics, short videos, and micro-interactions using tools like After Effects or Premiere Pro.
• Create videos using AI as an assistant. 
• Build templates and scalable, reusable assets that other teams can use independently.
• Design for events and print, from trade show booths to the details that shape the offline experience.
• Work with marketing across campaigns, social, advertising, and collateral.
• Work with UX/UI designers on visual elements, mockups, and screens. 
• Create the visual part of the case studies to showcase product and engineering work. 
• Use GenAI as part of your workflow where it improves speed or clarity, without replacing the craft.
• Understand that design doesn’t stop at the brief. Ask the right questions, and know why you're working on something.
• Understand who the brand is speaking to, where it’s showing up, and how the work will be used. You shape the final output with the audience, the context, and the business goal in mind.
• Design with intent. Every output should be worth the effort it takes to create it.

Requirements:

• Confidence working in Figma and Illustrator, or whatever helps you bring ideas to life
• Working knowledge of After Effects or Premiere Pro. 
• A portfolio that shows range across brands, products, and motion is a bonus. Strong storytelling is a must. 
• The ability to take a loose brief or abstract idea and turn it into something clear and usable. 
• A basic understanding of UI/UX is helpful but not essential. We’ll figure it out together. 
• Experience creating short-form content with speed and intent. Agility matters. 
• Ask the right questions, challenge vague input, and design with context in mind. 
• Care about who you're designing for, not just what you're designing. 
• Open to feedback and value the culture and brand you're working with.
• Work across practices. 
• Experience working with fast-moving teams. 
• Comfort with tight timelines and fast feedback cycles. 
• Interest in visual storytelling across formats like short-form video, social design, and motion. 
• Exposure to creative work outside design: photography, writing, or storyboarding. 
• A genuine interest in how AI is changing the way ideas are formed, shaped, and communicated.
