Video Editor Internship in Mumbai at Pushpa Prakash Films

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work with Social Media Manager in the development of social media campaigns where video is required
• Editing field footage videos to create a finished product
• Creating a manual for Word Made Flesh fields to use when creating video
• Communicating with the Writing intern to create a script outline of video to send to fields
• Reviewing and organizing raw footage for editing purposes
• Enhancing video quality through color correction, audio adjustments, and visual effects
• Selecting and integrating appropriate music, sound effects, and voice-overs
• Collaborating with the creative team to understand project objectives and requirements
• Managing and maintaining video assets, archives, and project files
• Staying up to date with industry trends and advancements in video editing techniques and software

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques
• Solid grasp of visual storytelling principles and techniques
• Knowledge of audio editing and mixing
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics
