Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Research and write scripts for video stories in Marathi, ensuring the content is engaging, accurate, and aligns with The Better India's vision.
• Develop storyboards and visual concepts that highlight the core message of each story.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to fine-tune scripts and video concepts before production.
• Create visually appealing videos that bring stories to life, maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring the final output is ready for publishing.
• Coordinate with protagonists (individuals, organizations) to schedule interviews and acquire required footage for video production.
• Manage and oversee the entire video production process, from pre-production (planning, scripting, coordination) to post-production (editing, finalization).
• Reach out to potential protagonists for interviews, following up to ensure they provide the necessary materials for video production.
• Conduct interviews with protagonists, gathering relevant content, insights, and emotional stories.
• Establish and maintain a rapport with interviewees to ensure smooth filming and collaboration.
• Edit video content using industry-standard editing tools to create engaging videos, integrating voiceovers, music, graphics, and other elements as required.
• Ensure that the videos are well-paced, visually cohesive, and effective in conveying the core message.
• Review and make necessary changes to ensure the videos meet brand and quality guidelines.
• Adapt video content for different platforms, ensuring optimal delivery for various digital and social channels (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
• Stay updated on the latest video trends and techniques, implementing new ideas and formats to keep the content fresh and engaging.
• Continuously research and identify new, inspiring stories for potential video creation.
• Suggest creative video formats, styles, or series to keep the content exciting and diverse.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in video creation, video production, or content creation (preferably with experience in creating Marathi content).
• Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
• Excellent scripting and writing skills in Marathi, with the ability to develop engaging narratives.
• Experience conducting interviews, especially remotely, and handling protagonist coordination.
• A good eye for visual storytelling and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and how to adapt content for different channels.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and animation.
• Experience in multimedia content (photography, audio, etc.).
• Passion for positive storytelling and social impact.
