Hero Moto Corp is hiring for the role of Vehicle Integration Software Development Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collaborate with the development team to understand the functionality and requirements of the Android and iOS app.
• Develop and execute comprehensive unit test cases to validate the behavior of individual code units and components
• Identify, isolate, and report bugs and defects, documenting them with clear steps for reproduction.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve identified issues.
• Automate unit tests where possible to increase testing efficiency and maintain test suites for future releases.
• Perform regression testing to ensure previously identified issues have been successfully resolved.
• Participate in code reviews to provide insights on potential code quality and testability improvements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and participate in discussions on testing best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in mobile app testing for connected vehicle perspective and make recommendations for process improvements.

Requirements:

• BE/ B.Tech/ M.Tech
• 3 to 6 Years of experience
• Proven experience in unit testing Android apps using Kotlin and popular testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
• Strong understanding of the Android app development lifecycle and the importance of unit testing in the software development process.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.
• Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks for Android apps is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented and capable of analyzing complex systems to ensure thorough testing.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
