Hero is hiring for the role of Vehicle Integration Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• The incumbent is responsible for visualising and generating feasible design layout concepts in 3D/2D, considering quality/weight/cost targets.
• He/She is responsible for completing the layout study of 2-wheeler whole vehicle systems external to the engine, ensuring proper interfacing with adjoining systems.
• He/She also needs to maintain the tolerances stacks required to ensure gaps/flush variation on the vehicle.
• The role involves whole vehicle level validation for fitment and the conduct of pilot production assembly trials for mass production of new models.

Requirements:

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering from a renowned institute
• R&D chassis systems design and/or integration experience, preferably in the 2-wheeler segment
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on longer-term objectives
• Experience seeing design projects through from concept to production (preferred)
• Knowledge of advanced surfacing, 3D modelling, and 2D drawing in Catia V5 / any CAD tool
• Good understanding of DFM/DFA/DFS/DFMEA and GD&T
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes in vehicle system design
• Component and subsystem level understanding
• Understanding of project plans
