Validation/Characterization Engineer Job in Bangalore at Texas Instruments

Texas Instrument is hiring for the role of Validation/Characterization Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design test cases to evaluate how and when a device might fail under real-world conditions ("break-the-part" mentality).
• Understand the impact and root cause of device failures and determine if mitigation is needed for quality, safety, or reliability.
• Ensure that devices perform consistently to the specifications listed in the data sheet and VVCM (Validation/Verification Compliance Matrix).
• Design PCB boards for testing and validation purposes.
• Develop automation software to improve test coverage and reduce data collection time.
• Measure device performance using custom-developed methods and troubleshoot related systems, equipment, or device issues.
• Work in post-silicon labs or with software programs necessary to run validation measurements.
