Ups Service Engineer Job in Chennai at Maruthi Power Control Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer service requests and inquiries regarding inverter and battery systems
• Perform on-site visits to diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and recommend solutions.
• Conduct thorough assessments of the equipment's functionality and identify any potential performance or safety concerns
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on inverters and batteries, including cleaning, inspection, and firmware updates
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions or failures, both hardware and software related.
• Replace faulty components and ensure proper calibration of the systems
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new inverter and battery systems.
• Ensure that all components are properly connected, configured, and tested according to manufacturers guidelines
• Educate customers on the proper operation, maintenance, and safety precautions related to their inverter and battery systems
• Provide clear and concise instructions to customers regarding system usage and troubleshooting procedures
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of service visits, repairs, and maintenance activities
• Create and submit comprehensive service reports, including diagnosis, actions taken, and recommendations for further improvements

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in working with inverters, batteries, and electrical systems in a field service capacity.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose technical issues effectively.
• Familiarity with various inverter and battery technologies, including grid-tied, off-grid, and hybrid systems.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple service calls.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations, sometimes on short notice
• Valid driver's license
