Under Writer - Insurance Job in Gurugram at Viaansh Insurance Brokers

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess risks associated with insurance policies.
• Review insurance applications and determine whether to approve or reject them.
• Analyze data and information to determine the risk level and the appropriate premium to charge.
• Must have knowledge of property insurance policies and engineering insurance, policies specifically CAR and operational policies

of Road Projects.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of underwriting activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with changes and developments in the insurance industry and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to junior underwriters.

Requirements:

• At least 1.5 years of experience in underwriting in an insurance company.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and information and make sound underwriting decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

Working days:

• 6 days working, 2nd Saturday off
