Frazier & Deeter LLC is hiring for the UK Tax Exceutive:

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Assist in the preparation of tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant UK tax laws and regulations.
• Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues and provide well-supported recommendations and solutions.
• Assist in responding to enquiries and correspondence from tax authorities, including drafting letters and supporting documentation and communicating with HMRC personnel.
• Stay abreast of changes in UK tax legislation and regulations.
• Support the tax department in various administrative tasks, including organizing and maintaining client files and documentation.
• Proactively manage and take ownership of tax engagements by treating client accounts with a sense of personal responsibility, including consistent follow-ups on project progress and ensuring timely completion and filing of deliverables.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of relevant accounting/tax experience.
• Proficient skills in taxation, tax accounting, and accounting in general.
• Experience in UK tax would be an advantage.
•  Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in tax software (such as OneSource, Alphatax, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to quickly learn new software applications as needed.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to appropriately prioritize and manage time based on a combination of external and internal deadlines.
