Molex is hiring for the role of Trainee - Trade and Customs!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Classify Molex commodities, software, and technology with Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs) according to the Bureau of Industry and Security's Commerce Control List (CCL) and other EU and AP country laws and regulations.
- Interface with relevant Molex or vendor Engineering Design/Product/Management/Sales/Procurement team to determine and validate product classification.
- Respond and maintain classification data in the SAP-GTS and complete classifications assigned within the defined turnaround time.
- Ensure data integrity related to classification and value information declared to Customs authorities.
- Ensure legal compliance with government rules and regulations pertaining to classification.
- Ability to research discrepancies and provide substantiation to support classification claims to Customs In a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Electronics & Communication)
- Self-starter – minimal supervision required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A high degree of integrity
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
