Trainee - GIS Conflation Support Job in Pune at TRC Companies

TRC Companies is hiring for the role of Trainee - GIS Conflation Support!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Train AI/ML models by accurately identifying label locations, such as pole shadows, in imagery data.
• Annotate imagery data with relevant labels to facilitate AI/ML model training and validation.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of labeled data by reviewing and validating annotations.
• Learn and become proficient in using GIS tools and AI/ML platforms for data annotation and model training.
• Maintain detailed documentation of labeling procedures, guidelines, and best practices.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in GIS technology, AI/ML methodologies, and electrical distribution networks.
• Provide feedback to improve labeling processes, tools, and workflows for increased efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Graduate degree in a relevant field with up to a year of GIS experience
• A basic understanding of the GIS domain and concepts is a plus
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies related to GIS, AI/ML, and data annotation
• Some knowledge of electrical distribution networks and asset types is preferred
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data annotation and labeling tasks
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements
• Experience with GIS software or tools is a plus but not required
