Trainee Associate Software Engineer – DevOps Job in Noida at Walking Tree

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Learn and support automation using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Support deployment processes and work with senior engineers to ensure smooth release cycles.
• Gain exposure to monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, New Relic) to track system health and performance.
• Assist in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting development, testing, and production environments.
• Learn and follow security best practices in DevOps and IT administration.
• Provide support in IT system administration tasks including installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware & software.
• Work on cloud administration tasks (AWS / Azure) including resource provisioning, storage management, and networking.
• Gain hands-on experience with Linux OS administration, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and IT teams while documenting learnings and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, cloud, and containerization.
• Awareness of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Understanding of containers (Docker) and orchestration concepts (Kubernetes is a plus).
• Familiarity with version control (Git).
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of Linux OS administration, system commands, and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, IP configuration).
• Awareness of hardware administration (system setup, installation, troubleshooting).
• Strong willingness to learn, problem-solving attitude, good communication, and team collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or academic projects related to DevOps, cloud, or IT administration.
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
