Barclays is hiring for the role of Trade & Working Capital Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives, including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
• Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
• Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
• Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
• Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicating findings to internal senior stakeholders.
• Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practices in banking operations.
• Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Excellent command of English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with modern presentation tools and exposure to Co-pilot, automation/robotics, and Agile tools.
• Good understanding of Corporate and Investment Banking products and processes.
• Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
• Postgraduate degree and/or relevant project management certification.
• Experience managing end-to-end projects across functions.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and influence.
• Knowledge of RBI regulations and regulatory frameworks (preferred).
• Project planning, execution, and delivery management.
• Stakeholder management and communication effectiveness.
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Ability to prioritise, multitask, and work under pressure.
• Presentation quality, reporting accuracy, and management information (MIS) governance.
