Bajaj Electricals is hiring for the role of Trade Sales Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Achieve sales and collection targets through direct sales, distributors, dealers, wholesalers, institutions, and long-arm sales personnel
  • Introduce new products, monitor product sales, and ensure timely payment collection
  • Execute the distribution plan, accompany distributor sales personnel for order booking, and manage channel partners
  • Expand the network by appointing new dealers and distributors, maintaining relationships with partners, negotiating terms, and establishing stock norms
  • Ensure product merchandising, timely settlement of channel partner claims, and monitor second sales of distributors and dealers
  • Provide market information on competitor schemes, and collect data on market share, industry growth, and consumer preferences
  • Provide product knowledge and on-the-job training to distributor sales personnel, prepare monthly reports, and ensure scheme implementation
  • Implement sales promotion campaigns, product launches, demonstrations, and displays, and regularly visit institutions

Requirements

  • Essential Qualification: Graduation in any relevant disciple
  • Desired Qualification: Postgraduate diploma in sales and marketing (preferred)
  • Experience: 2-8 years of experience in direct or channel sales, preferably in consumer durable or FMCG industry
  • Industry Preference: Consumer Durable Industry, Home Appliances/Kitchen Appliances/FMCG
  • Functional Competencies: Selling skills, business acumen, analytical skills, product knowledge, and forecasting & planning (critical)
  • Behavioral Competencies: Team player, strategic thinking, relationship management, and operational effectiveness (critical)
