Siemens is hiring for the role of Testing Engineer - Medium Voltage Circuit Breaker!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
1. Test Field Activities:
- Planning & performing routine testing of circuit breakers as per relevant IEC & IS standards and customer requirements to ensure the best quality product.
- Providing necessary training & input to the workmen related to new products to ensure maximum quality output.
- Troubleshooting & solving issues during routine testing of circuit breakers and informing the vendor to avoid future occurrences.
- Working as per LEAN principles and suggesting improvements to eliminate waste.
- Providing feedback to the concerned execution engineer regarding drawing-related issues.
2. Customer Inspection:
- Ensuring readiness of the breakers before customer inspections.
- Responsible for both export and domestic customer inspections.
- Submitting compliance reports and incorporating necessary changes suggested by the customer during inspections, ensuring these changes are reflected in the breaker before dispatch.
- Preparing and submitting inspection reports, MOM (Minutes of Meeting), breaker witnessed reports, RTC (Request to Change) documents, calibration reports, bought-out component TC’s, and relevant IEC & IS standards to the customer, if required.
3. Test Field Activities:

- Ensuring good knowledge of EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines to be followed during electrical/mechanical testing.
4. Customer Inspection:
- Ensuring readiness of the breakers before customer inspections.
- Responsible for both export and domestic customer inspections.
- Submitting compliance reports and incorporating necessary changes suggested by the customer during inspections, ensuring these changes are reflected in the breaker before dispatch.
- Preparing and submitting inspection reports, MOM (Minutes of Meeting), breaker test reports, RTC (Request to Change) documents, and calibration reports, along with bought-out component TC’s and any other necessary documents.
- Demonstrating good business communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, etc.
- A basic understanding of EHS guidelines to be followed during electrical/mechanical testing.
Requirements:
- Diploma Electrical Engineer with 1 to 2 years of experience or fresher
