Testing Engineer Job in Delhi at Amit Test and Calibration Centre Laboratory

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive testing and evaluation of electrical systems, equipment, and components. This includes but is not limited to transformers, motors, generators, circuit breakers, relays, switchgear, control panels, and other electrical apparatus.
• Collaborate with design engineers and project stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications. Develop detailed test plans and procedures to validate the performance and safety of electrical products.
• Utilize a variety of electrical testing equipment and instruments, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, and specialized testing devices. Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
• Analyze test results and identify any deviations or faults in electrical systems or components. Collaborate with design and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant industry standards, regulations, and codes pertaining to electrical testing and safety. Ensure that all testing activities adhere to these requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of test procedures, results, and observations. Prepare comprehensive test reports summarizing findings, conclusions, and any recommended improvements.
• Propose and implement process improvements to enhance testing methodologies, increase efficiency, and reduce potential risks.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, adhering to safety guidelines and best practices during all testing activities. Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and software tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex technical data accurately.
• Effective communication skills to report findings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures.
