ABB Group is hiring for the role of Testing Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Developing and executing quality control plans and procedures for low voltage motors routine and type test
- Conducting Routine testing and type testing of low voltage motors, preparing routine and type test reports
- Understanding of design specifications, QAP, and drawings. Handling of customer/third-party inspections
- Reporting of non-conformance and providing support in Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions on testing-related issues
- Training of QA testing trainees and providing technical support when needed, ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards
- Troubleshooting any errors concerning routine/type test setup and coordinating with the internal team (Design/Production and Order handling)
- Preparing daily/monthly reports. Being well-versed in IS/IEC/JEC and IEEE standards
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation and Control Engineering
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant functional experience
- Hands-on experience with measuring equipment of reputed make such as Yokogawa and Fluke (HV tester, Insulation resistance tester, Micro OHM meter, Power, Vibration, and noise analyzer)
- Familiar with Instrument calibration, ability to troubleshoot
- Familiar with QMS ISO 9001:2015
- Good communication skills
