Test Engineer - Power System Protection Job in North Goa at Siemens

• Collaborating for new solutions and technologies required in the business to drive new product and offerings.
• Capability to handle customer FAT independently

Requirements:

• Excellent Communication Skills both written and verbal
• Basic/Advance knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point etc.
• Critical thinking, reasoning and problem solving are an essential part of this position.
• Candidate shall be a good team player, agile, resilient, and sincere
• Enjoy learning new things and build knowledge base in new area.
• Additional expertise in new technology domains like Cyber security, Digitalization trends will be preferred.
• Knowledge & understanding on various wiring schematic drawings
• Understanding of Power system protection philosophy & their application.
• Hands on experience of configuration of various type of Numerical IED’s (SIEMENS, ABB, GE, Schneider.)
• Hands on experience on various test kits like OMICRON, DOBLE, Megger etc.
• Working experience of integration of Numerical IED’s with Substation Automation system
• Understanding of client requirement / technical specification
• Basic Knowledge on Substation Automation and Communication Protocols like SNMP, SNTP, Modbus, IEC60870-5-103, IEC61850, IEC60870-5-101 and IEC60870-5-104
• Basic concepts of Digital substation techniques
