Test Engineer - Mobile Network Software Job at CSG

CSG Is hiring for the role of Test Engineer - Mobile Network Software!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Test and validate our software across 3G, 4G, IMS, 5G, IoT mobile network technologies
• Troubleshoot issues related to network connectivity, signaling, and protocol behavior
• Analyze logs and trace data to pinpoint software bugs or network anomalies
• Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and resolve complex issues
• Develop and execute test plans for new features, updates, and integrations
• Maintain test environments including devices, SIMs/eSIMs

Requirements:

• Completed University degree in a relevant field
• Multiple years of experience in telecom software testing
• Good knowledge of mobile network technologies (3G, 4G, IMS/VoLTE, 5G, IoT) and network signaling (e.g. SIP, RRC, NAS) as defined in 3GPP
• Strong skills in issue troubleshooting, log analysis, and bug reporting
• Experience with telecom test tools and protocol analyzers like Wireshark, QCAT
• Familiarity with Linux and AT modem commands
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
