Baxter is hiring for the role of Test Engineer II!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Gain a thorough understanding of the project's objectives and execute test strategy independently
• Document the test cases and test data management
• Design the test workflows, protocols, and test data, and document test cases in test suites
• Strategize and carry out system integration activities to reduce complications in systems verification
• Assist in the documentation of traceability from requirements to verification activities, and requirements to design entities
• Develop and maintain an effective and collaborative working relationship with internal and external development partners
• Lead the team in effectively defining, communicating, and implementing test strategies to uphold product quality and delivery
• Lead and collaborate with the verification team to drive improvements in test execution, quality, and delivery
• Use different test design techniques, such as Pair Wise Testing and Orthogonal Array Testing, to create test protocols that have the best possible test coverage
• Use test metrics to determine the efficiency, effectiveness, quality, and performance of software testing techniques

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field and 3+ years of related experience
• A proven track record in regulated software development, preferably in medical devices or other highly regulated products
• Experience working in medium to large VnV teams
• Proficient in implementing verification strategies that encompass functional, non-functional, reliability, and performance testing
• Experience in defining or redefining test architecture and test automation frameworks
• Working knowledge of enterprise software architecture nuances
• Excellent knowledge of enterprise software automation tools
• Knowledge of medical device software development and verification, including standards such as IEC 62304 and ISO 14971
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Understanding of the nuances of small to medium-sized enterprise software
• Demonstrated superior global collaboration and a spirit of innovation
• Ability to lead small to medium-sized teams technically and elevate performance
• Proven ability to take risks and challenge the status quo
