NTT Data is hiring for the role of Test Engineer Advisor!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Experience in implementing a Test Data Management strategy starting from Data Analysis & Planning, TDM Tool evaluation, tool implementation and leading the seamless test data delivery to different test teams within the Test Function.
• To plan and implement the test data management strategy from test data requirements to seamless test data delivery pipelines for the inflight projects.
• Develop and execute a Test Data Management Strategy to cater to the test data requirements of Functional, Automation and Performance test analysts.
• Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication and collaboration amongst all relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment of TDM strategy.
• Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: Ensure that TDM activities comply with established quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and skill development within the testing team

Requirements:

• Proficiency in using TDM tools to create and mine data as well as the ability to automate data generation.
• Ability to identify inefficiencies in the test data and optimise it to improve the testing process.
• Experience in the data testing types such as ETL, ELT, Data Migration testing.
• Understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques relevant to the project.
• Leadership Skills: Persuasive skills required to ensure that TDM strategy is agreed and approved by the relevant stakeholders.
• Communication Skills and Planning and Organisational Skills: Ability to plan the progress of building the TDM capability within the team and quantify the progress to the wider audience.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Aptitude for identifying and resolving issues, troubleshooting technical problems, and making informed decisions
• Attention to Detail: Thoroughness in understanding TDM requirements and suggest the appropriate strategy to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collaboration: Ability to work closely with business analysts, product owners, application services team and business users, if required to ensure alignment of TDM.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing project requirements, priorities, and timelines.
• Quality Focus: Commitment to delivering high-quality software by adhering to testing standards, practices, and quality assurance processes.
• Continuous Learning: Keep up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in testing practices.
