Test Engineer Job in Pune at Zebra Technologies

Zebra Technologies is hiring for the role of Test Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Creates new test scenarios, and applies them in exploratory or regression software testing
• Automates test scenarios using scripting or dedicated tools (preferably Robot Framework, UI Automator etc.)
• Verifies software functionality against user requirements or specifications
• Verifies bug reports provided by customers, works with customers to specify reproduction steps
• Performs integration testing, including cross-platform test setups or interoperability with dedicated Hardware.
• Documents software defects with clearly described test setups and reproduction steps
• Analyses usability and visual consistency of graphical user interfaces
• Compres features against competition, and prepare relevant performance benchmarks
• Creates test plans and maintains test infrastructure
• Creates and maintains unit tests directly at the level of source code, using standard programming languages
• Provides knowledgeable feedback on software design and user experience, exceeding just the compliance with predefined specification
• Supervises processes and configures relevant tools for iteration planning, continuous integration, risk management, release criteria, deployment

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering(Electronics/Computer Sc./Physics) or Major in Physics
• Minimum Work Experience:1-2 Yrs.
• Working knowledge with some experience in Python scripting, Labview, C++
• Basic knowledge on Data analytics tools and development – Power BI/Looker
• Basic understanding to perform Technical analysis with problem-solving capability associated with the manufacturing or functionality of electronic systems
