Emerson is hiring for the position of Test Engineer

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive test plans based on product specifications and requirements.
• Design and develop test procedures and test cases that effectively evaluate product functionality and performance.
• Execute test plans and conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, stress, and performance testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Analyze test data and results to identify defects, anomalies, and performance issues, and report findings to the development team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test automation, and quality assurance processes.
• Proficiency in testing tools and languages, such as Selenium, Python, or similar.
• Knowledge of test management tools like JIRA or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
• Relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance.
