Test Engineer Job in Bangalore at ABB Group

ABB Group is hiring for the role of Test Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

• Executing testing according to schedule
• Preparing project test documentation and providing technical support during installation of test objects in the test area, should know/experience of Drives and converters
• Assisting the preparation of proposals for engineering projects in one’s area of responsibility
• Following work plans and cost estimates for work in one’s area of responsibility
• Ensuring quality timely implementation within targeted cost
• Making risk assessments in one’s area of responsibility to ensure safe systems of work and taking appropriate actions
• Reporting contract/quality/program/cost issues to management
• Assisting with customer or official contacts and communication about test assignments or meetings
• Maintaining a network of engineering professionals and sharing best practices across different project
• Using standard processes and tools
• Supervising Engineers/Service support engineers

Requirements:

• Diploma/BE/B Tech in Electrical and Electronics
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in testing of rolling stock products
• Working knowledge on conducting the Type and Routine test as per IEC61287
• Knowledge of Visio and E3 schema software will be an added advantage
• Excellent communication skills
