Test Engineer Job in Hyderabad at Qualcomm

Qualcomm is hiring for the role of Test Engineer!

Responsiblities of the Candidate:

•  Getting involed in the testing of the large SW systems that are part of advanced 5G NR gNB infrastructure with a focus on 5G NR RF and PHY.
• Helping out in test planning, execution, and automation of the various gNB features.
• Testing, integration, troubleshooting, and software quality and analytics activities.

Requirements:

• Strong fundamentals in wireless communications, digital signal processing, information & coding theory.
• 1-3 years of test experience in one or more of the following radio access technologies 5G NR,  LTE, UMTS, Wifi with a focus on MAC, PHY, and RF testing.
• Experience with test equipment such as channel emulators, spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Bachelor's in Engineering, Electronic communication, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in the design and development of 5G NR/LTE L1 PHY testing scenarios and/or L2 MAC testing scenarios and/or RF testing scenarios is preferable
  • Experience in complex s/w debugging
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic team environment
  • Knowledge of Qualcomm QXDM, QCAT, and JTAG debugger is a plus
  • Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, and Python is a plus
• Master's in Electronic communication, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science, Electrical Engineering.
• Must have a great interest in new technologies and be willing to learn, enjoy working in a lab environment, be proactive, and have a hands-on approach to work assignments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required and must be able to work well with others in a technical environment.
