About this Job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve or exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Team Management: Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to help them meet their individual sales goals.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders within the territory, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the territory to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts and reports, providing insights into sales performance and market conditions.
  • Account Management: Manage key accounts within the territory, ensuring the company’s products and services meet customer requirements and expectations.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory, expanding the company’s customer base and market presence.
  • Budget Management: Manage the territory’s sales budget, ensuring effective use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
  • Product Training and Promotion: Educate customers and sales team members on the company’s products and services, highlighting features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all sales activities within the territory comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment with overall business goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.

Experience:

  • Experience managing a sales team and achieving sales targets.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel within the territory as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license.
