Telecommunications Engineer Job in Bangalore at Dar Al-Handasah

Dar Al-Handasah is hiring for the role of Telecommunications Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design prestige projects and coordinate/work closely with Architects, Engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize the project design and resolve design technical issues.
• Design various types of facilities including commercial, institutional, industrial, residential, office buildings, and similar facilities, in addition to infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop parametric models and computational workflows using scripting languages such as Grasshopper/Rhino, Dynamo/Revit, Python, or similar tools to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and facilitate design iteration.
• Design activities include the preparation of reliable telecommunication designs and Tender/Construction Drawings and Documents/Specification for the following system:
  • Data Network System (DNS)
  • Local Area Network (LAN)
  • Wireless Data Network (WDN)
  • Structured Cabling Network (SCN)
  • Voice Communication Systems – IP Telephones
  • Electronic Visual Information System (IP Television)
  • Fire Alarm System (FAS)
  • Public Address System (PAS)
  • Intercom system
  • Master Clock System (MCS)
  • Video surveillance system
  • Access control system

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Telecommunication or Electronics Engineering
• 1 to 8 years of proven experience as a telecommunication designer.
• Strong understanding of design principles, construction techniques, and building systems
• Knowledge about scripting languages such as Grasshopper/Rhino, Dynamo/Revit, Python, or similar tools to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and facilitate design iteration
• Proven experience in computational design, parametric modelling, and scripting languages is desirable but not Mandatory
• Knowledge of Design Software like AUTOCAD, REVIT…etc.
• Creative thinking and a passion for pushing the boundaries of design through computational innovation
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
