About this Job

Job Description:

  • Place outbound calls to prospective clients to generate leads and appointments for the sales team. You may also contact existing clients to offer them additional services or updates.
  • Have a good understanding of Sharekhan's financial products and services, including stock trading, mutual funds, and other investment options. Provide information and answer questions about these offerings to potential clients.
  • Build rapport with clients and establish a positive relationship. Address their inquiries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Identify and qualify potential clients by assessing their financial needs and investment preferences. Record client information accurately and update the database.
  • Maintain a follow-up schedule to nurture leads and convert them into clients. Regularly call prospects who have shown interest but haven't committed to opening accounts or investing.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies while communicating with clients and collecting their information.
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for the number of calls made, leads generated, and clients acquired.
  • Maintain records of calls, lead status, and other relevant data in Sharekhan's CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and services through ongoing training and coaching provided by Sharekhan.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, although some positions may prefer a bachelor's degree.
  • Previous experience in telecalling or telemarketing is often preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of financial products and services is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and call center systems is beneficial.
  • Good negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
  • Compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
