JP Morgan is hiring for the post of Technology Operations!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Facilitating agile sprint ceremonies as appropriate, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives and backlog refinement 
• Understanding of key agile metrics such as sprint burn down charts, velocity charts, control charts
• Driving team members to anticipate and resolve potential blockers and ensuring impediments and blockers are removed or escalated in a timely manner 
• Leading agile teams both onshore and offshore across global locations 
• Fostering a culture of collaboration with other scrum teams and collaboratively work with other tech partners and product teams to effectively identify and track key dependencies
• Managing projects against aggressive client commitments and deadlines. Ensure ordered and well-documented product backlogs.
• Removing blockers to development progress. Manage stakeholder expectations. Assists heavily in re-planning if needed based on customer requirements.
• Producing clear and transparent project governance and reporting processes
• Assisting Business Management in financial aspects of development.
• Bringing ideas from professional facilitation, coaching, conflict management, mediation and so on to help the team become a high-performance team
• Guiding the development team on the establishment of data driven metrics such as:
  • Definition of ready for backlog, definition of done.
  • Story point, time-based velocity charts
  • Churn to measure stories and tasks moved from sprint to sprint
• Ensuring teams manage work and prioritize effectively, all team members are engaged, and all work is captured in backlog
• Reviewing sprint progress and ensure latest status is captured and updated as appropriate.
• Partnering with product owner to prioritize work through backlog and manage scrum artifacts.

Requirements:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced knowledge in infrastructure projects, operations systems, and data analytics 
• Proficiency in one or more of the following: Microsoft Office, VPN, Virtual Machines, Remote Connectivity products, Security
• Understanding of technology offerings and businesses supported
• Ability to identify problems, troubleshoot, and deliver strategic solutions to clients
• Genuine interest in continuous feedback, learning, and growth opportunities
• Effective collaboration and communication to achieve common goals and maintain a company standard of excellence
• Good knowledge of Windows/MAC OS with the ability to carry out root cause analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills
