Tarento is hiring for the role of Technical Writer!

Responsibilities of a Candidate:

• Consolidate sections and/or documents developed by the Bid Team members into the required submission format.
• Read through RFPs to identify key requirements.
• Carry out the tender production process: converting documents into Adobe PDF, printing, and binding the final document.
• Monitor Client external portals: daily website checking, reviewing responses, and uploading technical queries on behalf of the company.
• Preparation of presentations for pitches and client meetings.
• File management and maintenance of tender folders whilst the bid is live.
• Monitor the bid team inbox, answer queries, and direct/escalate emails to the relevant members of the team.
• Manage the bid portals - looking at and for, new tenders coming through.
• Assist in the preparation of weekly/monthly information to provide accurate and up-to-date information for the management team.
• Respond positively and within agreed timescales to internal and external customer requests
• Ensure all tender documentation is filed, controlled, and organized.
• Prepare the Business proposal project bid document and tender submission documents.

Requirements:

• Experience working with developers and comfortable with asking questions and highlighting inconsistencies in the product
• Must know that they need to ask the what, why, how, and when questions
• Experience in writing online help for a software product
• Able to work with multiple projects at one time
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Experience in owning and driving online help and trying and determine what needs to be written
• UI writing experience
• Able to be flexible work with ambiguity and determine priorities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Word/PowerPoint)
• Create clear concise instructions in help
