Fortinet is hiring for the role of Technical Support Engineer - I!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Provide technical support via phone and web-based systems
- Analyze and investigate customer reported problems
- Provide turnkey solutions through debugging, packet capture, and traffic flow analysis
- Report and follow up with engineering and development teams
- Own and manage technical cases and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct real-time phone or remote access sessions with customers
- Develop core competency in Fortinet's product line and technologies
Requirements:
- NSE7 or CCNA/CCNP certification
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and switching fundamentals
- Hands-on experience in IPsec, SSL, SD-WAN, authentication, WAF, VoIP, hardware redundancy, and dynamic routing protocols
- Knowledge of Linux OS, virtualization technologies, and cloud computing
- Experience with Python or similar languages (preferred)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- 2+ years of experience in computer networking or security industry
