Kyndryl is hiring for the role of Technical Support Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Adopt the given technology to meet the drift of customer and business requirements.
• Prepare Root Cause Analysis and meet Service Level Agreement for submission.
• Develop, document, and maintain procedures for system utilities such as backup/restore, performance tuning, and configuration of environments.
• Handle incremental backups as required.
• Provide direct technical support as a Subject Matter Expert in planning, coordination, installation, implementation, and testing of releases and upgrades.
• Diagnose storage products and related product issues and follow up with root cause analysis.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning, changes, upgrades, implementation, and scheduled tests.
• Perform problem determination and resolution within the expected time frame.
• Lead daily operations meetings, provided there are no P1 incidents running.
• Aid in identifying problem management trends.
• Possess strong knowledge of TSM / SP / SPP / ComVault / VeeamBackup installation, configuration, and administration on Windows, UNIX, Linux, AS400, and Solaris environments.
• Demonstrate strong experience in creating and configuring backup policies for file systems, databases, virtual infrastructure, and mailing infrastructure for various clients.
• Design complete backup and restore strategies and configure backups (Full/Incremental/Image/Sub-file) and troubleshoot them.
• Implement High Availability, Workload Management, Failover, and Disaster Recovery.
• Configure inventory expiration, migration, reclamation, TSMDB backup, and Admin Schedules.
• Create backup scripts for UNIX and Windows servers.
• Apply proven debugging and analytical skills with a solid understanding of system development methodologies, techniques, and tools.
• Work proficiently in a high-availability environment with alignment to processes (ITIL).

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of experience in Customer Service or Technical Support.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus and IOS technologies.
• Experience with F5 ASM and LTM configuration and troubleshooting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
