ABB Group is hiring for the role of Technical Support Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Report to the Service Intelligence Unit Manager.
• Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers, ensuring timely and cost-effective support by guidelines.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing support work according to customer expectations.
• Ensure customer retention by delivering a superior customer experience.
• Work onsite as per the role's work model: #LI-Onsite.
• Contribute to the Robotics & Discrete Automation business Service & Digital Platform division in Bangalore, India.
• Display a clear understanding of urgency and care in your area of responsibility and communicate this effectively to customers.
• Identify opportunities while supporting customers to address any additional concerns and report these opportunities to the account team through local business processes.
• Recognize technical problems and analyze them through communication with customers and remote connections to assets for a limited range of services and products.
• Take action to identify new Service business opportunities for ABB, working closely with customers and other ABB teams.

Requirements:

• You are highly skilled in SQL, Python, Power BI, automated intelligence building and 'learning' systems, and Proficiency in Visual Basic for writing Macros and the Automation market.
• Ability to demonstrate your experience in working closely with local business units to deliver the services to enhance ABB digital services across the globe.
• You have 2-3 years of experience in robotics service and support.
• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Automation.
