Alaan is hiring for the role of Technical Product Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Product Ownership: Drive product features across card issuance, authorization, clearing, settlement, and transaction monitoring.
•  Lead integrations with banks and processors, ensuring smooth implementation of APIs and compliance with scheme rules.
• Write and run SQL queries to analyze transaction flows, declines, and settlement mismatches.
• Review and debug web-hooks and event payloads to identify issues quickly.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, test, and optimize APIs and integrations.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Define key metrics (auth rates, decline ratios, fraud trends) and use data insights to guide improvements.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, banking, or payments.
• Hands-on with SQL — comfortable writing queries to analyze transaction and customer data.
• Ability to review and debug web-hooks and event logs.
• Deep expertise in understanding APIs, authentication, and system integrations.
• Strong interest in card payments and transaction processing — you enjoy digging into the “why” behind every transaction.
• Excellent communication skills for working with engineering teams, banking partners, and non-technical stakeholders.
• A curious, problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
