S&P Global is hiring for the role of Technical Operations Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Implement and maintain automated emergency protocols for products to ensure rapid response to critical incidents, minimizing downtime effectively
• Ensure the configuration management database (CMDB) is complete and accurate, providing a reliable record of all technical assets and configurations
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of technical operations processes, including disaster recovery testing and failover procedures, to establish best practices
• Offer expertise and guidance to support teams in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues efficiently
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and patterns, providing actionable recommendations to enhance processes and reduce vulnerabilities
• Deliver training and support to technical teams, emphasizing security measures and best practices in data management to ensure effective operations

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3-6 years in software engineering, software operations, or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable discipline
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of technical operations processes and systems
• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment while maintaining focus on key objectives
• Strong interpersonal skills that promote effective teamwork and knowledge sharing
