Technical Manager (BFSI Industry) Job in Noida at Religare Broking Ltd

Key Responsibilities:

1. Application Management:

• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle management of software applications, from initial planning through deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure applications are effectively integrated with other systems and processes within the organization.
• Ensure all relevant documentation is prepared, including Technical specification documents, Application Architecture

2. Team Leadership:

• Providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management of internal team as well as vendor resources.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

3. Project Management:

• Plan and manage application development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, Product, IT, and external vendors.

4. Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as the primary point of contact for all application-related matters.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide status updates, and ensure alignment with business goals.

5. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure applications meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement best practices for software development and maintenance, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.

6. Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with application development and deployment.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical applications.

7. Technical Expertise:

• Understand the application architecture, and be the technical expert to provide / design technical solutions for new requirements and also help resolve technical issues which arise.
• Responsible to ensure adherence of systems with the organizations cyber security policy.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team and organization.
• Ensure performance of the applications being managed is optimal
• Working knowledge on technologies such as .Net Core, Nextjs, SQL, Mongo, Rabbit MQ, etc…

8. Budget Management:

• Manage the budget for application development and maintenance.
• Optimize costs while ensuring high-quality application performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• 6-8 years of experience in application management, with a significant portion in the BFSI industry.
• Proven experience leading and managing development teams.
• Strong project management skills, including experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Good knowledge of BFSI industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-based application deployment and management.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
