IG Group is hiring for the role of Technical Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Help formulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives.
• Lead multiple technology teams concurrently to successfully deliver various projects, including commercial, regulatory, and modernization initiatives. Ensure these projects meet high delivery and quality standards while adhering to planned time-to-market schedules.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to transform product requirements into actionable tasks. Provide guidance and support throughout the development process to ensure timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.
• Engage with essential stakeholders, including customers and internal teams, to gather insights, address concerns, and align the product strategy with the organization's business goals.
• Manage and nurture engineering skills within the teams. Support individuals in their career growth and development.
• Cultivate a collaborative and positive work environment. Work closely with engineering, product management, business, and other departments to facilitate effective communication and goal alignment.

Requirements:

• Ability and desire to learn business domain.
• Prior experience in managing multiple diverse teams with the ability to build and expand teams when needed.
• Ability to manage and engage with multiple stakeholders including BA, business, and vendors, and drive key decisions.
• Experience in developing complex and challenging systems with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to own and deal with production systems and related issues.
• Excellent communication skills - adept with the right communication skills for the right audiene.e
