Cisco is hiring for the role of Technical Leader!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• You are not just a technical guide in your team but also possess the ability to drive your team towards technical expertise. You are passionate, care about customers success, and inspire others to feel the same
• Effectively engage, take ownership, and aim to resolution critical customer issues in Cisco’s Routing portfolio
• Provide guide support and be a critical point of contact for technical and operational issues that require engineering expertise to resolve
• Apply analytical skills and profound technical knowledge to understand and resolve product and network problems of high complexity
• Provide technical support to Cisco customer-facing teams and customers; provide status updates on the overall deployment projects
• Actively engage with Cisco’s customer facing teams and travel to customer sites ifneeded
• Efficiently apply lab setups to recreate and solve complex problems in systems dueto configuration, software or hardware defects
• Uncover systematic problems and drive plans with respective teams for long termsolutions providing better customer experience and product/solution stability

Requirements:

• Bachelors in STEM with or more shown experience working in network engineering
• Demonstrated experience working with protocols (BGP/OSPF/ISIS; EVPN, BFD,IPv4/IPv6; MPLS TE/FRR; L2/L3VPN; RSVP; Multicast (v4/v6)
• Experienced with real-time operating systems commonly used in Networkingsystems like IOS-XR, IOS-XR
• Experience with Linux and open-source technologies
• Experience with large scale routing and switching architectures
• Demonstrated experience fixing networking issues in live customer environments toeffectively diagnose and resolve problems
