ZF Friedrichshafen is hiring for the role of Technical Leader!

Responsibilities of the candidate:

• System development of door controls, taking into account customer, legal and platform requirements
• Design of system architecture, variant handling and configuration management as well as modelling the architecture in SysML
• Specification of hardware and software components as well as close cooperation with the supplying departments
• Safeguard of functionality via SiL and HiL tests as well as support for customers during commissioning and parameterization
• Process of change requests, special approvals and maintenance of existing products together with the production plants, purchasing and sales

Requirements:

• Degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent and initial experience in engineering in the automotive industry
• Knowledge of embedded software development and model-based development, preferably in-vehicle systems, alternatively from Arduino or Raspberry projects
• Initial contact to product development with state-of-the-art methods and tools, such as requirements management and risk assessment; (ASPICE, PTC, VECTOR Toolchain, FMEA, ISO26262)
• Good analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of systems and vehicles
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, German is a plus
