Technical Lead - Security & Surveillance (STQC) Job in Chennai at Zebronics

Zebronics is hiring for the role of Technical Lead - Security & Surveillance (STQC)!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Lead the development, enhancement, and lifecycle management of surveillance and security product lines (CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, video door phones, etc.)
• Oversee R&D initiatives, working closely with internal and external engineering teams to develop innovative and competitive solutions
• Manage and guide software and mobile app development related to surveillance products
• Ensure products meet required certifications, compliance standards, and quality benchmarks
• Work closely with procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure timely product availability and quality consistency
• Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and service teams to provide technical inputs, documentation, and training
• Participate in government or enterprise-level bid processes, offering technical support and documentation
• Lead product testing, quality assurance, and field performance validation efforts and coordinate with the STQC body for certification.
• Work with vendors and OEM partners to co-develop or customize products as per market demand
• Provide support in customer escalations, major deployments, and post-sales troubleshooting
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and the competitive landscape to inform product and innovation strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience in product development and technical leadership in the CCTV/surveillance domain for STQC certification
• Strong understanding of CCTV technologies, networking, video analytics, storage solutions, and integration protocols
• Experience in mobile app ecosystems (iOS and Android) related to surveillance products
• Hands-on experience with product certifications (BIS, CE, etc.), compliance, and testing protocols
• Excellent project management, cross-functional coordination, and communication skills
• Ability to lead teams and vendors toward timely and quality product delivery
• Strategic mindset with a strong customer-oriented approach
