Hella is hiring for the role of Technical Drafting Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Creating 2D drawings to meet Customer and FORVIA HELLA requirements. Deliverables should meet part functional requirements as per stages and the V-Model approach. Data transfer-based customer portal.
• Developing/Modifying existing 2D data of components and subassemblies to mature for nomination, ensuring design readiness for further development stages.
• Generating 2D data for Enquiry/design verification/validation to evaluate design performance and identify potential improvements.
• Preparing drawings and conducting drawing reviews with experts and key stakeholders as per the Functional dimensioning approach.
• Implementing defined Reference Point Systems (RPS) and tolerances for inner parts, LED light functions, and wire harness routing to ensure precise assembly.
• Reading and understanding drawings (views and Standard text) of single part / Sub-assemblies.
• Needing to understand the importance of Tolerances and GD&T symbols.
• Incorporating lessons learned from previous mechanical design projects to drive continuous improvement in design processes, ensuring timely and successful completion.

Requirements:

• Dip in Mechanical Engineering; B. E, B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• 0-2 Years in Drafting Plastic parts in the automotive industry
• Knowledge in GD&T and applications
• Basic knowledge of SAP PLM added advantage
• Good in English Communication (Oral and written)
• Knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Excel etc.
• Should be willing to work in any shift timings according to project LEAD Location
• Strong verbal, written and communication skills
• Required Experience: 0-2 Years in Drafting of Plastic parts in automotive industry
