Northern Trust is hiring for the role of Team Leader!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Sets up securities in trading systems, fix errors, fails and kicked out trades, set up new accounts
- Updates the trading system for changes in security ID numbers and factor changes
- Corrects errors, execute cancel re-bills, investigate and work through claims from trading partners
- Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact
- Manage daily operational activities and supervise the day-to-day work of junior-level employees (but not a formal management role)
- Delivers a work product that requires less revision
Requirements:
- A College or University degree and/or relevant Investment operations work experience is required
- Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions
- Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior-level employees
