Responsibilities for the role are-

• Develop and maintain Perl and Perl CGI-based web applications.
• Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery to enhance web application functionality and user experience.
• Implement and oversee multiple Perl web applications from conception to deployment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in executing basic Unix commands.
• Write and execute SQL queries for efficient database operations and create Unix Shell scripts as needed.
• Utilize command-level knowledge of Solaris and RedHat operating systems for system management.
• Apply telecom industry background to understand specific domain requirements.
• Adhere to ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release management, for effective operation support.
• Communicate effectively with clients, showcasing outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaborate seamlessly with a diverse team spread across various locations to achieve project objectives.
• Deliver compelling presentations and maintain detailed documentation to support project initiatives.

Requirements for the role are-

• Proficient in Perl / Perl CGI programming.
• Worked with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery technologies.
• Developed multiple Perl web applications.
• Strong understanding of basic Unix commands.
• Good knowledge of database SQL and Unix Shell scripting.
• Command-level understanding of Solaris and RedHat operating systems.
• Background in the telecom industry.
• Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release management).
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction.
• Strong written and oral communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
