TCF - Valuation Analyst Job in Mumbai at EY (Ernst & Young)

EY is hiring for the role of Analyst National Analyst - SaT - TCF - Valuation, Model & Econom!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Interact with clients and coordinate with Client/Company/Third party representatives.
• Conduct site visits and collect data.
• Understand relevant regulations, applicable taxation, building bylaws, etc.
• Read legal documents about land/real properties and evaluate building drawings, plant layouts, etc., on technical and regulatory parameters.
• Analyze assumptions based on market parameters and past performance.
• Interact with contractors/suppliers/vendors/OEMs and collect quotations for buildings and plant & machinery.
• Analyze fixed assets register comprehend the balance sheet provided in MS Excel and identify material issues that might impact the outputs of the valuation model.
• Ability to prepare a detailed valuation model from scratch with strict deadlines.
• Write reports.
• Manage reviews with the Managers and Partners.
• Ensure compliance with risk management strategies, plans, and activities.
• Understand the concept of risk management and bring to focus risk issues on client assignments and take issues to the notice of the manager/supervisor.
• Begin to identify new opportunities for existing clients and communicate with the manager.
• Network internally within the peer group and other levels in the firm to gain an understanding of issues that may impact issues with his clients.

Requirements:

• Required Qualification: Land & Building Valuation, Degree in Civil Engineering/Architecture/Building Science/Quantity Surveying along with MBA (Finance/Real Estate)/PGP (Construction Management) / PGDM / Master's degree (Real Estate Valuation/Estate Management) preferred
• Required Qualification-Plant & Machinery Valuation:    Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering along with MBA (Finance)/PGP/PGDM/Master's degree (Valuation) preferred.
• Skills:
• High team orientation.
• Analytical skills.
• Strong valuation modelling skills.
• Should be very conversant with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• A significant amount of initiative.
• Experience in tangible fixed assets/capital equipment valuation.
