Ather Energy is hiring for the role of Taxation Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Supporting the development of Tax optimization strategies.
• Managing direct and indirect tax compliances of the company on a monthly and annual basis.
• Building and maintaining compliance dashboards.
• Assisting in building scalable ERP designs supporting tax compliances
• Building strong internal controls for day-to-day compliances, audits, and refunds is critical for the role.
• Preparing data for litigations and liaising with external authorities together with external experts.
• Supporting the core team of the due-diligence projects for fund (equity/debt) raising
• Working closely with Auditors on quarterly, interim, and final statutory audits

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge and expertise on Tax matters of Corporations
• Prior experience in litigations and representation before Tax authorities
• Strong work experience in routine tax compliance matters. Preferably in the manufacturing entity
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Prior experience in controllership/accounting/auditing will be helpful
• Experience with SAP ERP platforms
• Ability to build successful relationships across stakeholders
• Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within strict timelines
