EY is hiring for the role of Tax Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Good grasp of baseline tax technical issues and processes; an understanding of more complex technical issues
• Analysis of fiscal data and tax questionnaires.
• Preparation of tax returns for tax residents and non-residents in Japan.
• Preparation of tax equalization calculations and hypothetical taxes
• Have a good understanding of the mobility workflow, process and technology
• Develop client service and engagement skills
• Contribute to client satisfaction by providing timely and effective responses to client needs and concerns
• Deliver high quality work with efficiency
• Adherence to Quality and Risk Management processes
• Actively participate in learning events and apply the knowledge at work
• Develop tax research skills and be familiar with various research tools available and apply them to specific client needs
• Assist Seniors and Managers on special projects, as requested
• Contribute actively to creating a high performing team
• Demonstrate professionalism and poise in demeanor, attitude, communication, behavior and interaction with others

Requirements:

• Tax Reporting, Risk Assessment, Data Cleansing, Tax and Social Security regulations
• Tax Equalizations/Reconciliation Calculation
• Preparation, review, and sign off (based on client SOW) of country specific tax compliance forms.
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree
• Any Certification course in excel and AI will be added advantage.
• Strong computer skills, including an intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI
