Vodafone Idea Limited is hiring for the role of Talent Acquisition -Deputy General Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Inputs into the functional recruitment and attraction decisions to deliver resourcing requirements as specified by the business function.
  • Maintains full people supervisory responsibility for a team of resourcing professionals contributes to team operating standards, sets direction, and enables performance.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and diplomacy skills to manage relationships with key business stakeholders, HR Business Partners, and Centres of Expertise.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the importance of the delivery of quality hires to support Vodafone in meeting its business objectives and supporting the local market talent agenda.
  • Draws on best practice knowledge and in-depth understanding of resourcing to improve the quality of hires and potential of those hired to meet the business objectives and local market talent agenda.
  • Seeks responsibility for the team's day-to-day delivery of the resourcing services against KPIs and project deliverables of the functional resourcing plan.
  • Seeks responsibility for defining the standards that the team operates to ensure compliance with policies and frameworks.
  • Supports operational excellence throughout the resourcing process and aspires to create an unmatched candidate experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop a team.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Proactive and result-oriented approach.
